I’m Endre Simo, a software developer and creative coder, having an immense interest towards image processing, computer vision, procedural and generative graphics using the web as a medium for playground and the canvas as a tool for visual expression.<\/p>\n
My first exposure to interactive and code driven art was in the Flash era, when highly complex and immersive experiments was impossible with the current web technologies. I used to share small experiments created in Flash on WonderFL<\/a>. (however this site is not active anymore).<\/p>\n With the rapid adoption of the aforementioned native web technologies I started to use Javascript and it’s derivatives for the frontend programming.<\/p>\n Nowadays my professional interest shifted to backend development, but my love for visual programming still persisted.<\/p>\n As a matter of backend programming I’m versatile In 2020 I was invited to a few Go related conferences as speaker presenting the Pigo<\/a> face detection library which I have developed in pure Go. Go<\/code> developer (check my Github<\/a> account for projects written in Go) and interested in emerging system programming languages such as Zig<\/code>. In terms of professional experience PHP<\/code> and Node.js<\/code> are programming languages I’m well familiar with, but my desire towards these technologies are somehow started to fade.<\/p>\n
